On the 22nd, 23rd, and 30th of the current month, eLiga 1 will become a reality in Peru. This is the name of the first official virtual football tournament, sponsored by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) and which, as such, will grant the champion a place in the Regional Playoffs that qualify for the FIFA 21 World Finals, the final stage of the global series.

The teams from the official tournaments of the local football League 1 and League 2 will have their representative in the championship. The organization of the event will provide players to the squads that do not have one. From there, a winner will emerge, who will have a passport to measure forces against the best in America, just like in reality. The biggest dream: to play in the World Cup.

So far, the only Peruvian with a spot in the regional qualifiers is Enzo Paredes, who holds tenth place in the South American PS4 rankings, so this tournament will offer a new opportunity for those who have not been able to qualify through the ranking.
The 22nd and 23rd will be the preliminaries, while the final of the competition will be on the 31st of the current month. There will be no in-person matches, and it will be played under the Fifa Ultimate Team (FUT) mode of FIFA 21, with one-on-one matchups, where the loser is eliminated.
